About this opportunity
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) published this Limited/Sole Source Justification Notice for the extension of commercial and professional IT services to operate and maintain HUD's cloud-based Salesforce platform. The services encompass operations and maintenance support along with transition-out services for multiple critical HUD systems including the Enterprise Analytics Platform (EAP), Computerized Homes Underwriting Management System Project (CHUMS Lite), PIH Real Estate Assessment Center - Technical Assistance Center (REAC-TAC), Housing Information Portal (HIP), and Enterprise Voucher Management System (eVMS). The justification appears to be based on the need for continuity during a transition period from the incumbent contractor to a new awardee, requiring specialized knowledge of HUD's existing Salesforce implementations across multiple program offices. The original contract 47QTCA19D00LJ was awarded on March 28, 2024, though the vendor name and contract value are not disclosed in the available information. The notice indicates this is a task order extension to ensure uninterrupted platform support services while HUD manages the transition between contractors. The services are categorized under Computer Systems Design Services (NAICS 541512) and specifically involve platform support services for database, mainframe, and middleware labor.
