Added: May 27, 2014 3:41 pm Modified: Jun 19, 2014 4:07 pmTrack Changes The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, intends to issue a solicitation for a contractor to furnishing all plant, labor and materials and equipment to construct the Lower Buffalo Creek, Arkansas, Channel Cleanout. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor and materials for channel cleanout of the northern portion of Lower Buffalo creek between STA 726+50 to STA 300 +00 to 375+00 and STA 650+00 to 714+50 IN Mississippi County, Arkansas. The cleanout consists of restoring the specified channel dimensions and design grade. Work incidental to the cleanout work and shoal removal includes, but is not limited to, excavated material placement within the right-of-way limits, clearing, snagging, scraping of topsoil, establishment of turf and erosion control.


The estimated price range for this acquisition is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 with a small business size standard of $33.5 million. This solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) and will be 100% set aside for small business concerns. The solicitation with drawings will be issued on or about June 19, 2014. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI). You can access these files from a link located on FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). Request for this solicitation must be made by registering through FedBizOpps at https://www/fbo.gov . Once registered, vendors, plan rooms and printing companies will be able to download this solicitation on or after the anticipated issuance date.
