Event: Long Term Lease Opportunity - Rock Island Arsenal
Audience: Community Developers and General Public
Solicitation Number: DACA27-1-19-063
The Government currently has property located on Rock Island Arsenal available for lease. The available space consists of the Golf Course with all associated structures, Clubhouse, and historic Quarters One. The Arsenal Island Golf Course is the Quad Cities original golf course established in 1897, and it remains the areas only 18-hole links course. This beautiful course sits on approximately 162 acres adjacent to the Mississippi River and has been a community staple for over 120 years.
The turn of the century 31,000 square foot Victorian style Clubhouse offers over 6,500 square feet of dining space with complete food and beverage services. The Clubhouse level features 2 full service bars, 5 rooms, each able to seat between 30-60 guests, a grand ballroom that suits gatherings up to 175 guests and a full service kitchen. Second floor space includes an additional bar, offices and locker rooms. The Arsenal Island Golf Course Pro Shop is located on the lower level of the Clubhouse.
Quarters One is an Italianate-style mansion that has been designated as a National Historic Landmark. It sits on approximately 6.25 acres of land, and with over 50 rooms and just under 23,000 square feet of space, it was the second-largest federal residence in the United States, behind only the White House. Once the home of the Arsenal's commanding officer, today Quarters One is used to host conferences, corporate outings, weddings and receptions, family reunions, and other special events.
The Government seeks to competitively select a private developer to lease and manage the available space.
