About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command is seeking a logistics support services contract for military installations in Bavaria, Germany. The pre-solicitation notice indicates a firm fixed price requirements type contract will be awarded for comprehensive logistical support services to U.S. and foreign military forces. Services will include dining facility operations, equipment and fuel transportation, ammunition transport, and additional support services such as providing material handling equipment, portable facilities, generators, and tent setup across multiple training areas including Grafenwohr, Hohenfels, Ansbach, and Amberg. The contract will utilize a low price technically acceptable evaluation method to determine the successful offeror. The government anticipates posting the full solicitation to sam.gov in November 2024, with a proposal due date of January 31, 2024, and all interested contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible.

The pre-solicitation notice does not specify a specific set-aside classification, indicating the opportunity is open to all qualified contractors. While no specific award value is mentioned, the contract appears comprehensive and designed to support dynamic military operational requirements, including programmed and unprogrammed support needs. The contractor will be expected to provide personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, and other necessary resources to support installations, troops, units, U.S. governmental agencies, and multinational partners. The contract will require flexibility to respond to changing operational conditions, troop strength variations, and potential new operational locations. Services will be further defined through individual task orders, suggesting a potentially long-term, adaptable contract structure with the ability to quickly respond to evolving military logistics requirements in the Bavaria region.
