About this opportunity

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) is seeking capable medical supply distributors to provide Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) services for up to 119,000 pallet positions of government-furnished COVID-19 ancillary kits, testing supplies, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Key requirements include the ability to receive, store, manage, and distribute these products within established timelines, provide small parcel and bulk distribution, and have organic or subcontracted medical waste disposal capabilities. Security, quality, and inventory management system criteria are also specified. Interested vendors must submit capability statements by June 28, 2024 for consideration.

This is a pre-solicitation notice and not a formal request for proposals. There is no set-aside designation, and the Government has not named any potential incumbent contractors. The value of the contract is not specified, but the Government is seeking to establish an inventory management and distribution solution for a significant quantity of critical medical supplies. The contract will include both fixed-price and time-and-materials contract line items.
