Please NOTE: ALL Offerors must include a STATEMENT OF EXPERIENCE (per SOW) and a proposed schedule for the work completion. Failure to include these documents with your offer may result in it being rejected as incomplete. If you have already submitted a quote, please revise your quote, add the required additional documents, and acknowledge receipt of this amendment.

The contractor will perform the following services:

  • Pick up the bars from the Lock & Dam 5 Storage Yard in Cochrane, WI
  • Disassemble sleeve nut from each anchor bar assembly
  • Clean and degrease each component (removing all rust and corrosion)
  • Sandblast all parts to remove paint and debris
  • Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of each assembly
  • Verify all critical dimensions
  • Clean and/or refinish threads and nuts
  • Clear grease ports and replace with new grease zerks
  • Paint all parts (3 coats - MPI 19, MPI 108, MPI 72)
  • Reassemble each anchor bar assembly
  • Delivery to Lock & Dam 3 (Welch, MN) and Lock & Dam 5A (Fountain City, WI)

OFFEROR SHALL BE REGISTERED IN SAM (System for Award Management) https://www.sam.gov to include the FAR and DFARS Representations and Certifications (Reps & Certs) sections with the NAICS code applicable to the solicitation.

NOTE - Clearer copies of the Anchor Bar As-Built Drawings in the SOW were added as separate attachments.

21 SEPT 2022 - An amendment to a different solicitation was inadvertantly posted, cancelling the solicitation. The error was posted on the website for less than 30 minutes. The amendment and notice were removed. The solicitation remains open until 2:00 PM (CDT) on 22 SEP 2022.  Please acknowledge Amendment 0001 in your quote.
