About this opportunity
USAID/Zambia intends to issue a request for proposal for a five-year Local Partner Capacity Development Activity to provide local Zambian partners support for success in operations, income generation, and advocacy. The selected contractor must build on lessons learned from previous capacity building initiatives, provide customized support for programmatic and operational excellence, and improve partners' networking, communication, and advocacy capacities. Proposals will be evaluated based on offerors' ability to increase partners' risk identification and compliance, enhance resource mobilization and funding diversification, and strengthen monitoring, evaluation, and learning. The deadline for proposals is November 18, 2022.
There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. The activity has three main components related to risk management, sustainability, and integrated programming. As this is a pre-solicitation notice, it provides early notice of USAID/Zambia's intent to issue an RFP but does not obligate the agency to do so. The notice advises that any procurement would be subject to funding availability and internal approvals.
