About this opportunity
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Blanket Order Agreement (BOA) for specific LM2500 Digital Fuel Control (DFC) and Gas Turbine Change (GTC) materials from General Electric (GE). The procurement is being conducted under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), which allows for a single-source procurement when no other suppliers can meet agency requirements. The specific materials include three G06 Kits, twenty thermal blankets of varying specifications, and eighty retainers. While the notice is not a formal competitive solicitation, interested parties may identify their capabilities and interest in the procurement before the closing date of March 12, 2025. The procurement falls under NAICS Code 333611 with a size standard of 1,500 and Product Service Code 2835 for gas turbines and jet engine components. The point of contact for this opportunity is Karen Johnson, who can be reached via email at karen.g.johnson17.civ@us.navy.mil.
The solicitation does not have a specific set-aside designation and is open to potential vendors. The procurement is directly with General Electric as the primary source, with the total quantity comprising three G06 Kits (Part Number 682L284G06), ten and five thermal blankets of different specifications (Part Numbers L31902P02 and L31902P07), and eighty retainers (Part Number L31903P01). The place of performance will be at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While no specific award value is mentioned, the procurement is structured as a Blanket Order Agreement, which suggests flexibility in ordering and potential future requirements. The Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command is overseeing this procurement, which is categorized under the defense sector. The government retains full discretion in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on the responses received.
