About this opportunity

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has issued a Special Notice for a potential sole source procurement of a LIMA Cell Monitor with Maintenance & Support. The agency intends to negotiate directly with G2K Labs, Inc., located in McLean, VA, for this acquisition. The procurement will be conducted using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and will result in a firm fixed-price (FFP) purchase order. The contract opportunity falls under NAICS Code 334290 for Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing. While the DEA's primary intent is to work with G2K Labs, they are allowing other vendors an opportunity to submit capability statements demonstrating their potential to meet the government's requirements.

Contractors interested in this opportunity must submit electronic capability statements to Robert.A.JonesJr@dea.gov by June 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. The Special Notice emphasizes that submission of a capability statement does not guarantee competitive consideration, as the government retains full discretion in determining whether to open the requirement to competition. There is no formal Request for Quotation (RFQ) available, and the notice is not a competitive solicitation. Eligible vendors should carefully review the requirements and prepare capability statements that clearly demonstrate their ability to provide the specified LIMA Cell Monitor with associated maintenance and support services. The DEA will evaluate any submitted statements and make a final determination on potential competitive procurement based on the received capabilities.
