About this opportunity

The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration issued a sole-source notice on September 17, 2026, announcing its intent to award a purchase order to Valid8 for financial investigation platform software licenses, maintenance, and support services, with a capability statement deadline of September 21, 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.

The DEA seeks a commercial-off-the-shelf solution to support anti-money laundering, illicit financing, fraud investigations, and complex financial crime investigations. The platform must automate extraction, verification, reconciliation, analysis, and visualization of large financial records and transactional data, with particular emphasis on source-evidence traceability—the ability to trace analytical findings back to underlying financial records. Market research identified alternative products offering individual capabilities such as financial document extraction or fraud analysis, but none combining forensic financial reconstruction, flow-of-funds analysis, and integrated source-evidence traceability in a single platform.

The DEA will conduct the acquisition under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures via a Federal Supply Schedule contract with an estimated order value up to $900,000. Performance runs from September 30, 2026 through September 29, 2027. Vendors believing they can meet the requirement may submit a capability statement to Denise.N.Scott@dea.gov by the deadline. The Government reserves discretion to open the requirement to competition or proceed with sole-source award based on responses received. NAICS 541512; PSC 7C21.
