About this opportunity

Naval Sea Systems Command intends to procure 75 Analog Sensor Cables (ASCs) as a sole-source requirement by June 1, 2026. The cables are components of the Leonardo DRS Advanced Data Acquisition Control System (ADACS), which detects conditions that can lead to arc faults inside Electric Plant Switchboards and Load Centers aboard naval vessels. Each ASC assembly provides power and Built-In Test interface from the Universal Sensor Interface Module to Thermal Ionization Detectors, enabling the integrated system to monitor electrical plant integrity. The requirement carries no small business set-aside.

Notice text

This is a Sole Source requirement for the procurement of seventy five (75) Analog Sensor Cables (ASCs), that are part of the Leonardo DRS Advanced Data Acquisition Control System (ADACS). The ADACS comprises of the Control Unit, Universal Sensor Interface Module (USIM), Thermal Ionization Detectors, and the ASC assemblies. The ASC assembly provides the power and Built-In Test (BIT) interface to the TID from the USIM. This allows the ADACS to detect conditions that can lead to an arc fault inside the Electric Plant Switchboards and Load Centers.
