About this opportunity

The Seattle District USACE is conducting market research through a sources-sought notice for potential small business participation in maintenance and repair of as many as 14 levees across five Washington State river basins (Nooksack, Skagit, Snoqualmie, Cedar, and Green), with target completion by October 1, 2026. This procurement is anticipated to be set aside for total small business. The notice seeks materials including riprap, embankment material, top course stones, spall rock, topsoil, mulch, clay, quarry spalls and stone, crushed quarry stone, recycled asphalt, and concrete jersey barriers. NAICS code 212319 (Other Crushed and Broken Stone Mining and Quarrying) applies, with a small business size standard of 550 employees. The Government explicitly states this sources-sought notice is for market research only; no solicitation is available, and no award will be made from this notice. Responses will inform potential acquisition strategies and identify capable sources. Respondents should address timeline feasibility and highlight any known constraints such as equipment lead times that may affect the October 1 completion target. The Government encourages interested vendors to register on the Interested Vendors List and include company UEI and CAGE code with responses.
