About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Omaha is seeking proposals for office space lease totaling 5,565 square feet in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. The agency's current lease is expiring and they are evaluating alternate space options to determine if a move would be economically advantageous. The procurement requires comprehensive consideration of multiple factors including availability of suitable alternate space, janitorial services included in the lease arrangement, and various relocation costs such as physical moving expenses, tenant improvement replication, telecommunication infrastructure setup, and potential non-productive agency downtime. The evaluation will weigh these elements against the current lease arrangement to make an informed decision. This solicitation was posted on July 17, 2025, with a response deadline of July 22, 2025, providing potential lessors with only five days to submit their proposals.
This opportunity operates under the NAICS code 531120 for Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings and carries no set-aside designations, making it available to all qualified contractors. The procurement specifically targets 5,565 square feet of office and related space, with performance required in Brown Deer, Wisconsin 53223. While the solicitation mentions the government currently occupies space under an expiring lease, no specific incumbent contractor is identified in the notice. The agency emphasizes that any decision to relocate will be based on economic advantage, indicating cost competitiveness will be a critical factor in the selection process.
