About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Omaha is seeking to lease approximately 3,250 square feet of office space in Blaine, Minnesota, as the government's current lease in that location is expiring. The agency is open to considering alternative space if it proves economically advantageous compared to renewing the existing lease. In evaluating proposals, the government will consider the availability and suitability of alternate space to meet its requirements, the janitorial services included in proposed lease terms, and the total costs associated with relocation, including physical move expenses, replication of tenant improvements, telecommunications infrastructure setup, and potential non-productive agency downtime. Interested vendors must submit their proposals by November 27, 2025, which is six days from the posting date of November 21, 2025.

This solicitation does not utilize any set-aside designations, meaning it is open to all qualified vendors. No incumbent contractor information or specific award values have been disclosed in the notice. The lease will be performed at the Blaine, Minnesota location (55449 zip code), and the opportunity is classified under NAICS 531120 for lessors of nonresidential buildings and PSC category X1PZ for lease and rental of non-building facilities. The government's decision will be based on a comprehensive cost-benefit analysis that weighs the financial implications of maintaining the current lease against relocating to alternative space, making total cost of ownership a critical evaluation factor.
