About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Omaha is seeking to lease office space totaling 3,025 square feet in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The Government currently occupies space under lease DACA455180064 which is set to expire, and they are evaluating alternate space options if economically advantageous. The evaluation will consider multiple factors including the availability of alternate space that meets government requirements, janitorial services included in the lease, and costs associated with potential relocation such as physical moving expenses, replication of tenant improvements, telecommunication infrastructure setup, and agency downtime. This solicitation falls under NAICS code 531120 for Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings and PSC code X1PZ for Lease/Rental of Other Non-Building Facilities. The solicitation was posted on July 11, 2025, with responses due by July 16, 2025, providing a tight five-day response window.

This procurement does not include any set-aside designations and is open to full and open competition. The current lease referenced as DACA455180064 indicates there is an existing incumbent contractor providing the current office space, though the specific contractor name is not identified in the solicitation. No specific award values or budget ranges are disclosed in the notice, which is typical for real estate lease solicitations where pricing is often determined through the competitive bidding process. The requirement specifies exactly 3,025 square feet of office and related space, with the place of performance definitively established as Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The Government's approach suggests they are conducting a market analysis to determine whether remaining in their current location or relocating would be more cost-effective for the taxpayer.
