About this opportunity
The U.S. Government, through the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Omaha, is seeking to lease approximately 1,420 square feet of office and related space in Lincoln, Nebraska, as the government's current leased facility in the area is set to expire. The agency is evaluating whether relocating to alternate office space would be economically advantageous compared to renewing the existing lease. The evaluation will consider multiple factors, including the availability of suitable alternate space, janitorial services included in lease proposals, and relocation costs such as physical moving expenses, tenant improvement replication, telecommunication infrastructure setup, and potential agency downtime during transitions. Proposals are due by March 24, 2026, providing potential lessors with a six-day response window from the posting date of March 18, 2026.
This solicitation carries no set-aside designation, meaning all qualified vendors may compete for the opportunity. No specific award value or budget range has been disclosed in the solicitation notice. The lease will be located in Lincoln, Nebraska 68512, and potential offerors should be prepared to address how their space offering meets the government's square footage requirements and operational needs. The procurement falls under NAICS Category 531120 (Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings except Miniwarehouses) and PSC Category X1PZ (Lease/Rental of Other Non-Building Facilities), with the lease term and specific start date to be determined based on the government's evaluation of economic feasibility.
Notice text
The US Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Lincoln, NE that will be expiring. The government is considering alternate space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the governments requirements, janitorial services provided in the lease, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
