About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Omaha is seeking to lease office space totaling 1,997 square feet in the Madison, Wisconsin area. The government currently occupies space in Monona, WI under a lease that will be expiring and is evaluating alternate locations if economically advantageous. The procurement falls under NAICS code 531120 for Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings and PSC code X1PZ for Lease/Rental of Other Non-Building Facilities. The government will evaluate proposals based on factors including availability of space that meets their requirements, janitorial services included in the lease, and costs associated with relocation such as physical moving expenses, tenant improvement replication, telecommunication infrastructure setup, and agency downtime during the transition. The solicitation was posted on July 8, 2025, with responses due by July 12, 2025, providing only four days for interested lessors to submit their proposals.
This opportunity does not include any set-aside designations, making it open to all qualified lessors. The solicitation notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or current lessors, nor does it specify potential award values or budget ranges for the lease arrangement. The required office space is specifically quantified at 1,997 square feet, though the lease duration and timeline for occupancy are not detailed in the available information. The place of performance is listed as Madison, WI 53716, indicating the government's preference for space in this specific geographic area rather than continuing with their current location in Monona. The evaluation process will consider both the direct costs of the lease and the indirect costs associated with potentially relocating operations to determine the most economically advantageous solution for the government.
Notice text
The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Monona, WI that will be expiring. The government is considering alternate space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the goverment will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can staisfy the governments requirements, janitorial services provided in the lease, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
