About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Omaha is soliciting proposals for the lease of approximately 1,200 square feet of office space in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. The agency's current lease in the area is expiring and the government is evaluating whether to renew in existing space or relocate to alternative facilities if economically advantageous. In evaluating proposals, the government will consider the availability and suitability of alternate space to meet its requirements, the inclusion of janitorial services in the lease, and the total cost of ownership including relocation expenses such as physical moving costs, tenant improvement replication, telecommunications infrastructure setup, and agency downtime during transition. The solicitation was posted on March 5, 2026, with proposals due by March 20, 2026, providing potential lessors with fifteen days to submit their offers.

This solicitation carries no small business set-aside designation and is open to all qualified commercial real estate lessors. The solicitation does not identify any incumbent contractor or current facility details in the available documentation. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the notice. The required space totals 1,200 square feet to be located in Grand Rapids, Minnesota 55744. Interested parties should note that the government's decision will ultimately depend on comparative economic analysis, making cost competitiveness and operational efficiency key factors in the selection process.

Notice text

The US Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Grand Rapids, MN that will be expiring.  The government is considering alternate space if economically advantageous.  In making this determination, the government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the governments requirements, janitorial services provided in the lease, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
