About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps is soliciting for the lease of Level III armored vehicles to support U.S. personnel operations in Peru. The procurement seeks armored SUVs that meet NIJ-0108.01 standards and include specific features such as operational air conditioning, spare tires, highway reflective markers, and bullet-resistant capabilities, with vehicles to be sourced from non-luxury brands including Chevrolet, Toyota, or Nissan. Contractors will be evaluated based on price, technical capability, past performance, and their ability to provide leased armored vehicles within 30 days of contract signing. The government intends to award a single firm-fixed price contract on an "all-or-none" basis to a qualified contractor. Proposals are due by January 20, 2026 at 4:00 pm CST and must be submitted electronically to specified USMC email addresses.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation and represents a five-year contract period spanning January 28, 2026 through January 27, 2031, structured as one base year with four optional one-year periods. The NAICS code 561613 (Armored Car Services) applies, with a business size standard of $43,000,000. The place of performance is Lima, Peru, where the leased vehicles will be operated and maintained throughout the contract term. No incumbent contractor or specific budget range is identified in the solicitation materials, though the firm-fixed-price structure and lease requirement for armored vehicles suggest significant monthly or annual costs associated with the procurement.
