About this opportunity
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has published a Special Notice regarding a planned sole source contract award to Lexis-Nexis for their Law360 Enterprise Subscription Service. Law360 is an online legal news subscription service that provides extensive coverage of current litigation, legislative, and regulatory issues across a broad spectrum of legal topics relevant to the CPSC's mission.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform the public of CPSC's intent to award a sole source contract to Lexis-Nexis for the Law360 service, as the government believes Lexis-Nexis is the sole provider of this proprietary content. The Special Notice stipulates a deadline of August 20, 2024 for any firms that believe they can provide the same service to submit written notice and supporting evidence to the Contract Specialist. However, the government retains sole discretion in determining whether to compete the proposed procurement based on any responses received. If no responses are received, CPSC will proceed with negotiating a sole source award to Lexis-Nexis.
