The National Institute of Standards and Technology, under the Department of Commerce, is soliciting quotations for one Laser Wavelength Meter (CHRONOS model) with quotations due August 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Mountain Time and written inquiries due August 13, 2026. It must integrate a Photonic Crystal Fiber 1x8 switch to accommodate up to 8 simultaneous laser inputs without accuracy degradation, and provide PID frequency stabilization capability for locking up to 8 laser inputs simultaneously with programmable analog voltage control. Performance must be maintained across air pressure ranges of 440–900 mm Hg and temperature ranges of 0–40°C. Delivery, installation, and training must be completed within 14 weeks after receipt of order; government acceptance testing will take 21 days.
