Description:
The project site is located approximately 5 miles north of the City of Delaware, OH. Travel north on highway 23 turn right immediately after passing under a railroad overpass on to Main Road (east). Continue one mile and turn left on the laboratory site.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.


This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-97.


Major work items include but are not limited to:
Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, supervision and other items or services necessary to perform landscaping/groundskeeping services as defined in the Scope of Work. All work must comply with OSHA, Federal, State and Local regulations. Any deviations from these assumptions shall be brought immediately to the attention of the Government. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to familiarize themselves with the site and the conditions of the project prior to submitting their proposal.


Period of Performance shall be May 15 thru October 31, 2019 or after issuance of Notice to Proceed. There are three Option Years and the total contract time will not exceed 4 years.


All work shall be performed in accordance with USDA Forest Service specifications, drawings, provisions, clauses and the terms and conditions as provided in the Request for Quote (RFQ). Public download is exclusively available from the internet by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at: http://www.fbo.gov. The date set for receipt of offers is 13 May 2019.
