Update #2 · Latest ·

The US Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) has a requirement for landfill solid waste disposal of Texas Class II Solid Waste for Red River Army Depot (RRAD) in Texarkana, Texas.
Statement of Work: The SOW covers the acceptance and disposition of Texas Class II non-hazardous waste into a permitted landfill Monday through Friday during the hours of 0730-1600. This support will be for fixed pricing of various types of Class II non-hazardous waste that will be deposited into an approved Texas landfill. This Texas Class II non-hazardous waste will be generated from Red River Army Depot (RRAD) in Texarkana, Texas and be delivered to the landfill. The landfill awarded a contract must be in a 30 mile radius of RRAD as the equipment used to haul this waste is not suitable for transportation of distances greater than that.
The solicitation will be based on full and open competition and will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price, Requirements type contract with one base year and four option years.
See below for Typical Types of Waste:
Asbestos Waste, Boiler Ash, Construction Debris, Bed Sand/Lime, Paint Filters, Plant Trash, Rubber (Mixed Waste), Weathered Timbers, Soil.

Contractors should not contact the Buyer seeking the solicitation, as it will not be available until approximately 15 days after issuance of this notice.

Disclaimer: This is a Pre-Solicitation Synopsis and is NOT a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of the information contained in this posting or information received as a result of this posting. The contents of any future formal Request for Proposal (RFP) takes precedence over anything contained herein.

Caution: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the website in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection of same.

All responsible sources should submit all questions to Pat Brown or Greg Donahoe via email: patrick.d.brown33.civ@mail.mil or gregory.s.donahoe.civ@mail.mil by Friday April 1, 2016, 1:00PM EST.
