Added: Feb 20, 2013 12:14 pm The Fish & Wildlife Service is requesting proposals to design and build a new 40X60Lampricide storage building that will store palletized containers of Lampricide. Lampricide is a Sea Lamprey control chemical that is specified as a Class 1C flammable liquid per the NFPA code. The Lampricide is delivered by tractor trailer in 5 gallon plastic containers, with 24 containers per pallet. The pallets are off-loaded by staff using a forklift. The facility will require pull through overhead doors for off-loading the pallets indoors. The design of the new building shall be in accordance with the applicable Federal codes, State codes, and Local Fire and Building codes. The facility is expected to be classified as a protected liquid warehouse per the NFPA 30.
