About this opportunity
The Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is seeking small businesses with relevant past performance providing operations and programming services on a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) using agile software methodology. The LIMS system consists of STARLiMS Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) software, LabX software, and various peripherals. The services would be conducted at DEA headquarters but support all DEA laboratories. Key contract requirements include upgrading the LIMS to the latest version, providing operations and maintenance support, making configuration changes using agile methodologies, and developing scripts for the data warehouse. The contractor would also be required to provide project management, testing, documentation, and security support. Responses are due by November 6, 2024.
This procurement is set aside for small businesses. The DEA has not identified any potential incumbents or current contractors. The contract is expected to have a value within the small business size standard for the NAICS Code 541511 - Custom Computer Programming Services. The services would support the DEA's LIMS system, which includes various software components and peripherals across all DEA laboratories.
