This is a SYNOPSIS OF CONTRACT AWARD. This synopsis is to announce award of a contract in accordance with FAR subpart 5.3. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS.
On August 25, 2017, NAVSUP FLC Norfolk, Groton Office, CT awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price contract N00189-17-P-G208 for one Base Year and Four One Year Option Periods. This contract was awarded to James Hancock in support of Naval School of Music, Virginia Beach, VA in the amount of $261,670.00. The award was made in response to proposals submitted under RFP N00189-17-Q-G119.

The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department Groton Office requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing Keyboard/Piano Instructor Services in support of Naval School of Musicâs program aboard Joint Expeditionary Base-Ft Story Little Creek, Virginia Beach, VA.
The Government contemplates a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract with a 12-month Base Year and four (4) 12-month Option Year periods resulting from the solicitation. FAR clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend will be included and will be initiated as an option, if warranted by the resultant contract.
This synopsis will be posted on both the FEDBIZOPPS (https://www.fbo.gov) and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil).
The RFQ number is N00189-17-Q-G119. The NAICS code is 711130 â Musical Groups and Artists, and the small business standard is $11 Million.
This requirement is being set-aside for 100% Small Business only. Anticipated release of solicitation is by the end of July â early August.
Questions regarding technical or contractual issues must be addressed to the Contracting Specialist via e-mail ONLY. The solicitation will incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the vendorâs responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.arnet/gov/far and www.acq.osd.mil. Lack of registration in the System of Award Management (SAM) database (https://www.sam.gov) will make a vendor ineligible for award.
SUBMISSION OF COMPLETED FAR PROVISIONS 52.209.11, 52.203-18 and 52.222-52, WITH ALL QUOTES ARE MANDATORY IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
It is highly recommended to read the RFQ in its entirety. Any missing documentation or requirement from the submitted package will automatically disqualify the bid from further evaluation.
Payment will be made with Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF).
