About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Philadelphia is soliciting proposals to design, construct, test, and deliver two 120' x 30' x 7' welded steel deck material barges to the Corps' Kansas City District, with options to order up to six additional barges. Offerors must provide engineering drawings, construction plans, material/equipment schedules, safety documentation, and arrange delivery by August 2024. Proposals are due by August 30, 2023, with award evaluation considering technical/management approach, past performance, and price.

The solicitation is set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 336611 and PSC code 9120. No incumbent is listed. Offerors must have a facility capable of constructing barges up to 150' long. The USACE Marine Design Center of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is soliciting for the procurement of two (2) welded steel barges, with options for up to four (4) additional barges.  The barges will support the civil works maintenance and repair mission of the Kansas City District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Delivery and final acceptance will be at the U.S. Army Engineer District - Kansas City, Missouri.
