About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force, specifically United States Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa (USAFE-AFCA), is seeking a multiple-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Kaiserslautern Installation Support Services (KISS). The contract will support the 86th Civil Engineer Group's comprehensive service requirements across four primary domains: Facility Maintenance, Real Property and Installed Equipment Total Maintenance, Grounds Maintenance, Custodial Services, and Housing Maintenance within the Kaiserslautern Military Community. The proposed solicitation (FA561325R0004) is designated as 100% Full & Open, meaning all responsible sources may submit proposals for consideration. The pre-solicitation notice indicates that the solicitation will be available through the Government Procurement Environment (GPE) via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation module. The critical dates for this opportunity include a posting date of January 31, 2025, with proposal responses due by February 17, 2025.
The contract has no specific set-aside designation and is classified under NAICS code 561210 for Facilities Support Services, with a Product Service Code (PSC) of S216 for Housekeeping and Facilities Operations Support. The proposed contract will have a 10-year ordering period, suggesting a significant long-term commitment to maintaining infrastructure and support services. While specific award values are not disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the multi-domain scope suggests a substantial and complex service requirement. The contract's comprehensive nature indicates it will likely involve multiple service providers working across facility management, maintenance, and support functions. Potential contractors should be prepared to demonstrate extensive capabilities in managing large-scale, integrated facility support services in a military community setting.
