About this opportunity

The Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons Federal Detention Center SeaTac issued a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) on March 10, 2026, for comprehensive medical services to be provided to the inmate population at the facility from April 1, 2026, through June 30, 2026. The services encompass inpatient and outpatient facility services, physician services, and outpatient institutional services provided by psychiatrists and optometrists. Seven Corners, INC., the current incumbent contractor, will continue to provide these medical services under this interim sole source award. The agency justified the use of other than full and open competition based on the critical nature of medical services delivery and the need to provide timely medical care to inmates, determining that any delay in contract award would be incompatible with the institution's operational needs. While the specific award amount and final vendor designation were not disclosed in the notice, contract JOFOC26_Q3_SET was awarded on March 10, 2026, to facilitate continuity of healthcare services until a new comprehensive medical services contract can be competitively awarded.
