Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Huachuca Division, DOC Operations Branch intends to award a noncompetitive sole source contract bridge to SBBI Inc.; 3282 HWY 82, Sonoita, AZ 85637, for Minor New Construction and Real Property Maintenance and Repair to include some design build for the Directorate of Public Works, Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
The statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements and FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. FAR 52.217-8 was not evaluated at time of award for contract W9124A-10-D-0001.
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220.
The duration of performance is a maximum of six (6) months. The current option expires on 3 June 2015. The maximum period of performance for the bridge is 4 June 2015 to 3 December 2015, which includes a 2-month Base Period and two, 2-month Option Periods. FAR 52.217-8 will be exercised the minimal number of months.
This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations and a solicitation will not be issued for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Any responses or inquiries to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
