About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Materiel Command, Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground is seeking information from potential vendors on agent-directed therapeutics (AD TX) for the treatment of Nipah virus (NIV) and Lassa virus (LASV). The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JPEO CBRND), Joint Program Manager, Biological Defense Pharmaceuticals (JPM BDP) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to gather details on vendor product candidates, including mechanism of action, preclinical and clinical research, manufacturing, and regulatory strategy. Vendors are also requested to provide a non-binding rough order of magnitude cost for any unfunded activities and details on their relevant past performance. Responses to this RFI are due by May 30, 2024, and the estimated period of performance is from October 2024 to September 2029. The government may consider using an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) under the CBRND Broad Agency Announcement 22-01 for any subsequent solicitation.

This RFI does not have a set-aside designation. The government has not identified any potential incumbents or current contractors. The RFI does not provide any information on award values or budget ranges, nor does it specify the quantity of goods or timeline for services.
