The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), JohnsonSpace Center (JSC) is pleased to release the Final RFP and Document Change Log for theJSCPSC acquisition. This solicitation replaces the Draft RFP NNJ11367009R issued onSeptember 21, 2011, in its entirety. In order for answers to be obtained and disseminated in a timely manner, all questions orcomments shall be submitted electronically by close of business on January 11, 2012, viathe Anonymous Questions to the Contract Specialist link on the JSCPSC webpage athttp://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/jscpsc/ . TELEPHONE QUESTIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. An RFP amendment will be issued after January 11, 2012, to answer questions submitted inresponse to the Final RFP.The period of performance for the JSCPSC has changed to a 2-year base and three, 1-yearoptions.Information related to this procurement can be accessed at the website below. http://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/jscpsc/ These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed usinga WWW browser application. Added: Sep 16, 2011 4:51 pm NASA/JSC plans to issue a Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for Johnson Space CenterProtective Services Contract (JSCPSC).The services are for protective services analysis, engineering and program management,security services, law enforcement, emergency management, and training. NASA/JSC intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price contract with an IDIQ feature. The period ofperformance will include a 1-year base period and four 1-year option periods, for a totalof a 5 year contract period. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and Size Standardare 561612 and $18.M, respectively. The anticipated release date of the Draft RFP is on or about September 29, 2011. Industry will then be requested to submit questions in writing by October 31, 2011, sothat the Government may officially respond. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about January 3, 2012, with ananticipated offer proposal due date of on or about February 6, 2012. The Government will not accept proposals in response to the Draft RFP. The Governmentanticipates issuing a modification to this synopsis to announce details of thePre-Proposal Conference. Please monitor the JSCPSC website for schedule updates.All responsible sources may submit an offer to the RFP which shall be considered by theagency.
