About this opportunity
FOH intends to award a noncompetitive modification to ServeFed, Inc. under a limited sources justification, extending Task Order 75P00123F37008 (Clinical East) under IDIQ Contract HHSP233201800009I for interim bridge services and increasing the task order's total estimated cost by $19.98 million, from $62.09 million to $82.07 million. The existing task order expires October 31, 2026, and the Government anticipates award of the modification in October 2026.
The Government justifies the action because uninterrupted mission-essential services must continue, and the recompete will not be completed before the current contract expires. The modification establishes a six-month base period from November 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027 and one six-month option from May 1 through October 31, 2027. The Government does not intend to use the entire bridge period if transition to the successor contractor can occur earlier. It plans to solicit the recompete in FY27 and to transition to the competitively awarded follow-on contract as soon as practicable. Funding is FY 2027 Service Supply funds, subject to availability and proper obligation. Performance is limited to the services and duration supported by the approved justification.
The underlying task order is time-and-materials. Before execution, the Contracting Officer will confirm applicable contract-type requirements, review any existing determination and findings (D&F), and document the basis for continued T&M use or any change in contract type. The notice carries no set-aside and cites PSC Q999 (Medical - Other).
