About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Sam Houston intends to solicit a non-personal services contract for a STEM Camp residential experience for 360 Cadets from Jackson Public Schools. The contract will provide six one-week cycles of programming, with 60 Cadets and four JROTC instructors participating in each cycle. Services include comprehensive residential support such as meals, lodging, and transportation according to the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contract also requires two follow-up classroom visits to seven Jackson Public High Schools during the first semester and a STEM Experience Day before December 15, 2025. While specific evaluation criteria were not detailed in the pre-solicitation notice, the contract appears focused on delivering a comprehensive educational and developmental program for high school students.
The contract opportunity does not have a specific set-aside designation and will be posted on SAM.gov, with electronic solicitation documents available for download. The NAICS code 611310 for Colleges, Universities, and Professional Schools suggests the contractor should have significant educational programming capabilities. Cycles 1-4 will run consecutively in June, with cycles 5-6 beginning no earlier than July 6th. The contract requires providing transportation, meals, and logistical support for all program components, including the one-day STEM Experience Day where lunch and dinner will be provided for approximately 64 participants. While no specific award value was mentioned, the comprehensive nature of services and multi-week programming indicates a substantial contract opportunity for a qualified educational services provider.
