The current contract held by Aleut O&M LLC is set to expire on March 20, 2024, and due to delays in finalizing the standardized BASOPS requirements, the government is unable to award a new competitive contract in time. The bridge contract, valued at over $20 million per year, will provide installation operations support services including preventive maintenance and on-demand repair services from March 21, 2024 to December 2024, allowing time for the full and open competition of the follow-on contract.
