About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 16 (VISN 16) is issuing a Sources Sought Notice for an Omnicell Service Agreement that will include telephone support, remote support, and on-site remedial and preventive maintenance services for Omnicell Secure Storage Systems and associated equipment. The VA is seeking qualified vendors who are authorized service providers or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners with access to OEM parts to service equipment operated by the Veteran's Health Care System of the Ozarks. Key qualifications include vendor authorization status with the OEM, small business certifications (if applicable), and availability under government-wide contracts, GSA Schedules, or other contracting vehicles. The government will use responses exclusively for market research purposes to determine the optimal procurement strategy, which may result in an unrestricted competition, set-aside award, or sole-source award to the manufacturer or authorized service provider. Interested vendors must submit responses by 7:00 AM Central Standard Time on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, to William.Shaver@va.gov, addressing all required questions including vendor authorization status, point of contact information, business size, small business certifications, and estimated market research pricing.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation and does not identify any current incumbents in the available documentation. The contract period of performance extends from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027, with four option years available. The government-furnished equipment inventory consists of 146 items, including SV-FLEX Lock 3.0 units, XT MED cabinets in various configurations, anesthesia workstations, and associated software licenses. Service delivery will be required at five locations throughout the network: Fayetteville, Springfield, Branson, Fort Smith, and Joplin, Arkansas. The SBA size standard for the applicable NAICS code 811210 (Consumer Electronics Repair and Maintenance Services) is 34 million dollars, which will determine small business eligibility for this procurement.
