The Government requires interested parties who disagree with the sole-source approach to submit letters of interest within 15 calendar days of the notice demonstrating technical expertise, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) authorization letters to sell and distribute OEM software for upgrades, and evidence of personnel OEM training and certifications to perform services. Vendors must also demonstrate software upgrade and reporting compatibility with the Impella equipment. The deadline for submitting letters of interest is November 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM Central Standard Time via email to the contract specialist.

There is no set-aside designation for this procurement, and the intended awardee is Abiomed Inc., located in Danvers, Massachusetts (UEI: KBGSE7HJSDE3). The contract will be structured as a Firm-Fixed-Price agreement with a base period and four one-year ordering periods, with an anticipated award date of January 1, 2026.
