About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration is seeking multimedia support services for the Central Alabama Montgomery VA Medical Center. The solicitation, issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ), covers phone and on-site support for video conferencing equipment in multiple conference rooms and public address systems across the Tuskegee and Montgomery campuses. Key contract requirements include a 4-hour phone response time during business hours, next-business-day on-site support, and annual on-site training at each campus. The evaluation criteria are straightforward, with price being the sole determining factor for assessing the reasonableness of offers. Potential offerors must submit their quotes electronically to michelle.bocage@va.gov by 9:00 AM EST on January 28, 2025, with questions to be submitted by January 27, 2025.

The contract is specifically set aside for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses under the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 517810, with a size standard of $40 million. The procurement is structured as a firm-fixed-price contract with a base year from March 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026, and four optional one-year extensions through February 28, 2030. The place of performance is located at 100 N Union St in Montgomery, Alabama, with contractors required to maintain necessary security clearances and comply with VA protocols, including COVID-19 requirements. Potential bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and complete annual representations and certifications electronically. While specific budget details are not explicitly stated, the contract encompasses comprehensive multimedia support services across multiple VA facility locations in Central Alabama.
