About this opportunity

NASA Ames Research Center is seeking to increase the value of an existing Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) task order under the Intelligent Systems Research and Development Support-3 (ISRDS-3) contract to provide additional research, development, and technology infusion support services to the Intelligent Systems Division at Moffett Field, California. The procurement aims to fulfill unforeseen additional requirements that have arisen from several critical programs and projects during the contract's current period of performance. NASA intends to complete this action through a sole source task order modification under FAR 6.104-1(a) with the current incumbent contractor. Organizations interested in demonstrating their capabilities may submit qualifications electronically to Contracting Officer Jeanne Chun at jeanne.s.chun@nasa.gov by 3:00 PM Pacific time on September 19, 2025. These capability submissions will be evaluated solely to determine whether NASA should conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis rather than sole source.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is classified under NAICS code 541715 for Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences. The current incumbent contractor is KBR Wyle Services, LLC, which has held the main ISRDS-3 contract (80ARC020D0010) since March 1, 2020. The specific task order being modified is numbered 80ARC024F0021 under the main contract structure. The modification will not extend the period of performance of the existing contract, focusing solely on increasing the task order value to accommodate additional requirements. NASA has indicated this action does not involve the acquisition of commercial items under FAR Part 12 procedures.
