About this opportunity

The International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) has published a Special Notice inviting industry partners to participate in a Reverse Industry Day for its upcoming IT Operations Labor Contract. This is a collaborative engagement opportunity designed to allow potential contractors to discuss their capabilities and share insights on industry best practices relevant to DFC's IT operations needs. The notice was originally posted on January 30, 2026, but has been amended to revise the event date, format, and registration details. The event is intended to facilitate a two-way dialogue between DFC and industry stakeholders prior to formal solicitation. No set-asides are designated for this opportunity, indicating it is open to all eligible contractors.

The Reverse Industry Day will be held on February 25-26, 2026, at DFC Headquarters in Washington, DC, in an in-person format only. The event consists of a general session scheduled for February 25 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM EST, followed by optional breakout sessions from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM EST on both February 25 and 26. Individual attendees must register through the provided Microsoft Outlook booking link, with seating limited to the first 100 individuals overall and breakout sessions capped at 25 vendors. DFC has indicated an affordability target of less than $45 million for the total evaluated price, though this figure is provided as guidance and does not serve as a ceiling or floor for proposals. The contract encompasses seven primary task areas including program management, service management, service desk operations, infrastructure and cloud operations, network operations with Zero Trust architecture, IT asset management, and engineering services, requiring a qualified workforce of 24 personnel across all operational towers.
