About this opportunity
The Iowa Army National Guard is seeking technical instruction services for an Interview and Interrogation course through the Midwest Counterdrug Training Center. The procurement will support law enforcement and military personnel training in counternarcotics and counter-transnational organized crime techniques. Instructors must possess extensive law enforcement experience, with a minimum of 15 years total experience and at least 10 years teaching Interview and Interrogation courses. The course is designed to accommodate up to 50 participants and will be a comprehensive 36-hour program covering legal considerations, interview techniques, personality assessment, deception detection, and body language interpretation. Potential contractors are required to submit their Sources Sought Response Form by 10:00 am central time on March 31, 2025, to help the government determine potential Performance Work Statement revisions and appropriate contract set-asides.
The contract will have a base period of approximately ten months with four potential 12-month option periods, allowing for up to six course iterations per period. No specific set-aside has been designated at this stage, and the government will use the Sources Sought Response to help determine if a set-aside is appropriate. While specific award values are not disclosed, the contract involves providing all necessary instructional materials, course development, and instructor travel expenses. The training will be conducted at government-provided classroom facilities, with the contractor responsible for maintaining current and relevant course content aligned with law enforcement training needs. The solicitation is categorized under NAICS code 611699 for "All Other Miscellaneous Schools and Instruction" and PSC code U006 for "Education/Training- Vocational/Technical" services.
