About this opportunity
The Library of Congress, Contract and Grants Directorate, issued a Special Notice indicating its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed-price contract modification to The Graphics Office LLC for design services required for the third rotation of the "Collecting Memories: Treasures of the Library of Congress" exhibit. The contract modification will extend the current exhibition through June 2025.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to provide an opportunity for interested parties to demonstrate that competition would be advantageous and not hinder the Library's mission. The response deadline is August 13, 2024. The Graphics Office is the only vendor that can perform the required services within the timeline due to their institutional knowledge and design aesthetic. The Library intends to include options for future rotations in subsequent solicitations to increase competition for exhibit design requirements.
Notice text
This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 – Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions.
