About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Singapore, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Bavak Beveiligingsgroep BV for genuine OEM replacement spare parts for Bavak Xentry-BD vehicle gate systems installed at the Embassy, with responses due by 4:00 PM Singapore Time on June 21, 2026. The requirement covers proprietary mechanical, electrical, and control-system components—including motors, gear drive assemblies, photocell transmitters and receivers, optical detectors, guidewheel assemblies, bearings, hinge assemblies, safety buffers, and cables—needed to support preventive and corrective maintenance and maintain operational readiness of the Embassy's perimeter security infrastructure. The Government is pursuing sole source procurement under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) because Bavak Beveiligingsgroep BV is the original equipment manufacturer and the only known source of genuine replacement parts compatible with the existing installed equipment. Interested parties that believe they can supply genuine Bavak OEM replacement parts must submit evidence demonstrating authorization to supply parts and documentation establishing their ability to provide authentic OEM components fully compatible with the installed systems. This notice is not a request for quotations and does not constitute a solicitation; responses are not offers and cannot form a binding contract.
