Notice text

The 144th Fighter Wing (144 FW) intends to issue a sole-source award for the semi-annual inspections of its aircraft shelters. These structures shelter base aircraft from the elements and any foreign objects, helping minimize any damages or defects to valuable aircraft, thereby ensuring mission operations continue without any unnecessary delays.

The existing structures are previously supplied by EDL Construction, Inc. and have sheltered all base aircraft since. These structures are still under warranty with EDL for materials and components. Under this warranty agreement, maintenance and inspections are reserved exclusively for EDL or one of its authorized representatives/dealers. In adhering to these terms, EDL has performed all maintenance and inspection services prior to this notice. It is the government’s wishes not to violate these terms, as continued maintenance of these structures is vital to base operations.

The 144 FW intends to issue a sole-source award to EDL Construction, Inc. to retain the existing warranty agreement on the aircraft shelters.
