About this opportunity
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to renew or replace an expiring office and storage lease in Carbondale, Illinois, with expressions of interest due by November 5, 2026. The Government will evaluate renewal against alternative space only if relocation proves economically advantageous after accounting for move costs, tenant improvement replication, telecommunications infrastructure, and agency downtime.
The space requirement is a minimum and maximum of 11,561 ANSI/BOMA square feet for storage, plus 30 adjacent parking spaces, located within 15 miles of 292 San Diego Road, Carbondale, Illinois. All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning, and tenant alterations must be included in rental consideration. Parties wishing to submit a location for inspection must contact the leasing office by September 5, 2026. Submissions by entities other than the property owner or manager require written authorization from the owner permitting a general offering of space.
Expressions of interest should be directed to Carlos Rosado, Space Leasing Specialist, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Denver Federal Center, Building 53, Room W1911, Denver, Colorado 80225; carlos_rosado@fws.gov; 703-468-8244. This is a civilian lease transaction with no set-aside.
