About this opportunity

This Special Notice from the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation communicates the agency's intent to bundle approximately 869 National Stock Numbers for T64 engine performance-based supply chain management support into a single contract. The planned solicitation number is SPE4AX-17-R-0022.

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation anticipates awarding a sole source contract to General Electric Aviation to manage the bundled National Stock Numbers. The agency expects to achieve cost savings, price reductions, quality improvements, reduced acquisition timelines, and improved terms and conditions through bundling the requirements. The Notice instructs interested parties to direct any questions to the specified point of contact by August 31, 2017. The bundled requirements meet the definition for a bundled contract under the Federal Acquisition Regulation and are unlikely to be suitable for award to a small business due to the diverse and specialized nature of the work.
