General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting proposals for construction firms having the capability to install broadband internet circuits at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, Milford, PA.
Solicitation Number 140P4524R0016.
The offeror selected shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project.
Description: Delaware Water Gap NRA Park offices are in need of reliable high-speed internet to improve operational efficiency of day-to-day operations and security of federal government systems through more timely updating and patching for vulnerabilities. Bushkill Meeting Center, Zion Church, and the Dingmans Falls Visitor Center are the buildings remaining in the park for internet service and upgrade.
Type of Acquisition: The National Park Service (NPS), New York Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) that would result in a firm fixed price contract.
The NAICS code for this project is 517111 and the small business size standard is 1,500 size standards in number of employees. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude is Between $250,000 and $500,000. This solicitation is advertised as a Total Small Business Set-aside.
