About this opportunity

The Department of Homeland Security Office of the Inspector General issued a Special Notice on October 13, 2026, announcing a sole-source follow-on information technology support services (ITSS) procurement under the NITAAC CIO-SP3 small business GWAC, with a response deadline of November 12, 2026. This is a total small business set-aside. The procurement supports OIG's IT operations across on-premise and cloud-based system engineering, network and infrastructure administration, development services, cybersecurity, and project management and business analyst functions. The task order comprises a six-month base period (September 30, 2026 through March 31, 2027), a one-year option period (April 1, 2027 through March 31, 2028), and a nine-month option period (April 1, 2028 through December 31, 2028). Work is performed at OIG headquarters and field offices and datacenters. The justification cites FAR 16.507-6(a)(3) for sole-source placement on the multiple-award GWAC as a logical follow-on based on prior contractor performance since 2021, specialized expertise in DHS OIG IT infrastructure and cybersecurity requirements, and estimated costs and delays associated with contractor transition. DHS OIG plans a competitive procurement upon order expiration on December 31, 2028.

Through this procurement, the Contractor shall continue to provide qualified personnel necessary for the efficient and effective administration and control of the work involved in operating current OIG systems and network infrastructure and planning, designing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining new systems as the OIG requires..
