About this opportunity

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), both under the Department of Health and Human Services, have issued a Special Notice announcing an Industry Day scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in Rockville, Maryland. This event is designed to facilitate direct communication between federal agencies and the private contracting community, including both small and large businesses. The Industry Day will feature presentations from HRSA and SAMHSA program offices, a question-and-answer session, and networking opportunities. No solicitations will be issued, and no contracts will be awarded during the event. The agencies intend to use this Industry Day as part of their implementation of the President's management agenda in future contracting activities.

The primary objective of this Industry Day is to increase understanding between private industry and HRSA and SAMHSA by discussing the agencies' upcoming requirements and needs. Interested contractors must submit an intent-to-attend email to AskOAMP@hrsa.gov by 5:00 pm on March 6, 2026, providing the first and last name, title, and email address for each attendee. In-person attendance is limited to the first 70 companies that submit a complete registration email and is particularly encouraged for companies located in the Virginia, D.C., and Maryland metropolitan areas. Each company may send up to three representatives to the event. This Industry Day is open to existing and potential future government contractors; however, grant-related discussions will not be included.
