About this opportunity

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has issued a Special Notice (ID: N0016425SNB38) regarding an Industry Day focused on test, evaluation, repair, modification, and upgrade of Electronic Warfare Systems. The notice specifically relates to maintenance requirements for Prime Mission Equipment (PME) Weapon Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs) and Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs) associated with EA-18G Growler and P-8A Poseidon Aircraft. This opportunity is part of a broader initiative to transition repair operations from government facilities to commercial, off-site facilities. The special notice was posted on February 20, 2025, with a closing date of February 28, 2025, and is categorized under NAICS 811210 for Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The event will be hosted by NSWC Crane Division and is designed to engage highly qualified repair and testing facilities.

Contractors interested in participating must submit specific information to Mrs. Theresa Jones by 12:00 PM EDST on February 28, 2025, including names, company details, and citizenship. Vendors may bring up to two employees and are required to transmit security clearance information via email to Pam Horton. The primary objective is to identify commercial facilities capable of performing complex electronic warfare system repairs, including testing of Radio Frequency (RF), Digital, and Analog assemblies, power supplies, and component replacements. Eligible contractors should have expertise in areas such as manual and automated testing, chassis assembly repair, soldering procedures, test equipment maintenance, and cable manufacturing. The government anticipates holding the Industry Day in the second quarter of FY 2025 at no cost to participants. Vendors are encouraged to submit questions by the February 28 cutoff, with the potential for a future solicitation in FY 2025. The ultimate goal is to free up government laboratory space for organic depot repair of emerging system equipment.
